Black Bianstone Thumb Ring

The Origin: An Archery Guard Turned Fidget Anchor
In ancient China, the jade thumb ring was designed as a functional archery guard. Over centuries, it evolved into a status symbol for the nobility—worn simply because they didn't have to work with their hands.
I’ve always had restless, hot hands. As a kid, my weirdest coping mechanism was running my fingers through other people's hair just to feel that transient, cooling sensation. Today, like many of us navigating the modern world, I deal with mild ADHD and the constant need to fidget. But I was tired of cheap plastic spinners and metal toys.
Then I saw these heavyweight jade thumb rings in ancient imperial paintings, and the tactile mechanics instantly clicked in my head.
The Mechanics: Thermodynamics & Tactile Feedback
This is not a delicate piece of jewelry. It is a natural physical anchor.
The thermodynamics of natural stone cannot be replicated by plastic or metal. It absorbs your body heat slowly and cools down incredibly fast the moment you set it aside.
How to use it:
The Fidget Spinner: Slip it onto your index finger and use your thumb to spin it. It’s the ultimate analog fidget toy.
The Cool Down: Hold the 1.5oz dead-weight in your palm for a grounding sensation.
The Reset: When your eyes are burning from hours of screen time, use the smooth, ice-cold edge of the stone to massage the acupoints around your orbital bone. It’s an instant physical reset.
The Statement: Simply wear it loosely on your thumb as a bold, heavyweight ornament—exactly as the ancient nobility did.
(Note: Designed with a wide ~22mm inner diameter, it sits loosely on the thumb for easy on/off. Because of this, it can slip off your hand easily. When you aren't actively using it, we recommend stringing it on a cord as a heavy pendant.)
The Specs: Black Bianstone
Crafted from natural Sibin Bianstone—a micro-crystalline stone traditionally used in ancient Chinese "Gua Sha" (scraping) therapy. Carved entirely by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike.
Colorway: Matte Black (with occasional natural white mineral veins).
Weight: ~45g (~1.5 oz). (about an egg)Substantial and heavy.
Width: ~28mm (~1.1 in).
Inner Diameter: ~22mm (~0.86 in).
The Initialization Protocol:
Your CHeese anchor arrives with a protective layer of factory wax. It's dormant. Before you wear it, you must wake it up. (refer video above)
Awaken: Soak in warm water (~40°C / 104°F).
Purify: Gentle scrub with mild soap. Remove the factory dust.
Nourish: Apply a drop of mineral oil (or baby oil). Because it is a natural porous stone, you will literally watch it drink.
Bond: Wipe off the excess and spin it. It's yours now. Treat it like skin, and it will evolve with your body's natural oils.

The Fit & The Spin
This is an ancient archery design. Inner diameter is approx 22mm (0.86 in).
It is designed to sit loosely on your thumb or index finger. It is NOT supposed to be tight like a wedding band. The loose fit allows you to spin it, rub it, and use it as a true fidget anchor.
